泰勒絲首波主打用＜Shake it off＞向大眾表示不再在意蜚言流語，第二次主打，也就是今天介紹的這首，用來諷刺媒體為她塑造的「噬男魔」形象。
她也曾向GQ表示：「不見得人人都能體會這種幽默用心。我很清楚，知道有人一聽到這首歌就會說：『看吧，她就是這種人。』聽到這種話，我就知道如果無法體會箇中的幽默，你就配不上這種幽默。」

除此之外MV也是砸重金拍攝，請來超級男模Sean O'Pry，在四星級旅館拍攝，還一次換了21套衣服
